OB TECH NON-CERTIFIED (NIGHTS)

About the role

The position involves performing patient care, patient service activities, procedures, clerical duties, and assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient care activities
• Assisting with patient service activities
• Participating in operating room procedures
• Handling clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School or one (1) year of on-the-job experience in a major operating room
• One (1) year ORT job experience in major operating room may replace OR Technical School requirement
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or per NRS 449.2185, sec. 1.(c)
• Current BLS Certification
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department
