About the Role
Functions as an Obstetrical Technician, performing nursing assistant duties as well as the Scrub role in the Operating Room.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or 0-6 months equivalent combination of education and experience in a related area
- Maryland CNA license required
- Minimum of one year direct experience in OR scrub role as well as nursing assistant duties in Labor/Delivery, Post Partum, and Newborn Nursery
- C.N.A. certification through Maryland State Board of Nursing
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements
