About the role
Jersey College is seeking Registered Nurse Instructors to join our dedicated team of educators. We are committed to providing high-quality clinical instruction and fostering the academic and professional growth of our students.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care facilities.
- Create a supportive and engaging clinical environment that promotes student academic growth and professional development.
- Prepare and submit student progress reports and grade reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records for students.
- Evaluate student competence based on the program's philosophy and objectives using various assessment tools.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development activities.
- Supervise students in the clinical setting and ensure they meet competency standards.
- Deliver effective lessons tailored to the skill level of RN and PN students.
- Show knowledge and experience in a specific nursing specialty and demonstrate relevant teaching experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required.
- An MSN degree is preferred.
- A valid State RN license is required.
- At least 3 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

- Experience supervising students in clinical settings.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
