About the role

Jersey College is seeking Registered Nurse Instructors to join our dedicated team of educators. We are committed to providing high-quality clinical instruction and fostering the academic and professional growth of our students.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care facilities.
• Create a supportive and engaging clinical environment that promotes student academic growth and professional development.
• Prepare and submit student progress reports and grade reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records for students.
• Evaluate student competence based on the program's philosophy and objectives using various assessment tools.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development activities.
• Supervise students in the clinical setting and ensure they meet competency standards.
• Deliver effective lessons tailored to the skill level of RN and PN students.
• Show knowledge and experience in a specific nursing specialty and demonstrate relevant teaching experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required.
• An MSN degree is preferred.
• A valid State RN license is required.
• At least 3 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
