OB Hospitalist (PRN) - Physician
About the Role
Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join our growing practice in Peoria, Illinois. This is a PRN position, offering flexibility in scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient Obstetrical and Gynecological care and deliveries.
- Work alongside a team of 4 OB Hospitalists, 3 additional OB/GYN physicians, 2 OB/GYN Advanced Practice Providers, 1 Certified Nurse Midwife, and dedicated support staff.
- Cover a moderately busy labor and delivery unit at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, with 24-hour support from OB Hospitalists.
Qualifications
- BE/BC in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

- 24/7 Neonatologist on site.
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR.
- Comfortable overnight accommodations located on the labor and delivery floor.
- Block scheduling or scheduling flexibility based on candidate availability.

Pay
The compensation for this position is $250/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
