About the role

WVUHS Medical Group seeks an OBGYN Hospitalist, PRN. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of Martinsburg, WV.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Hospitalist.
• Provide a full spectrum of women’s health services, from adolescence through menopause and beyond.
• Offer the latest innovative advances in obstetric and gynecologic care.
• Work in a setting with an annual volume of 1,100 deliveries, an MDA & CRNA mixed model, and midwives with delivery privileges.
• Participate in a hospital with expanded OR services, including four new outpatient ORs and five new ORs in the main hospital.
• Work in a rural area with a lower cost of living and easy accessibility to the Washington DC/ Baltimore, MD areas.
• Engage in a growing region with a steady influx of urban professionals contributing to the growth of local telecommuting and high-tech industries.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible to obtain state medical license.
• Completed an OBGYN residency program.
• Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
