About the role
WVUHS Medical Group seeks an OBGYN Hospitalist, PRN. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of Martinsburg, WV.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Hospitalist.
- Provide a full spectrum of women’s health services, from adolescence through menopause and beyond.
- Offer the latest innovative advances in obstetric and gynecologic care.
- Work in a setting with an annual volume of 1,100 deliveries, an MDA & CRNA mixed model, and midwives with delivery privileges.
- Participate in a hospital with expanded OR services, including four new outpatient ORs and five new ORs in the main hospital.
- Work in a rural area with a lower cost of living and easy accessibility to the Washington DC/ Baltimore, MD areas.
- Engage in a growing region with a steady influx of urban professionals contributing to the growth of local telecommuting and high-tech industries.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible to obtain state medical license.
- Completed an OBGYN residency program.
- Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
