• Pregnant and postpartum OBGYN Women’s Triage
• Labor and delivery care
• Care after birth
• Newborn care

Education

• Orders, interprets and incorporates diagnostic tests, studies and lab values into the plan of care
• Evaluates effectiveness
• Formulates appropriate diagnosis based on history, physical examination and clinical findings
• Serves as OB/GYN team member
• Works closely with physicians and other staff
• Ensures healthy pregnancies and deliveries

Caregiving

• Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies according to privileges
• Emphasizes patient education
• Achieves active participation from patients
• Ensures clear communication between the provider and the women
• Provides an individualized health care experience
• Teaches patients about all aspects of an infant’s reaction to its environment

Documentation

Communicates and documents pertinent case information in a timely and thorough manner.

Schedule and Bonuses

• 14, 12 hour shifts a month - day and night
• Campus: AdventHealth Altamonte
• Participation in Holiday rotation required
