OB Hospitalist, Academic Tertiary Care Center
Position Highlights

Inpatient obstetrical care only: antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum coverage
24/7 OB Hospitalist model with no call
Work within a multidisciplinary team that includes Certified Nurse Midwives, OB/GYN Generalists, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
Approximately 4,200 deliveries annually, with a high proportion of high-risk pregnancies
Level III NICU on site
Scheduling Flexibility: Choice of 12-hour and/or 24-hour shifts
Full-time equals an average of: 14 twelve-hour shifts per month, or 7 twenty-four-hour shifts per month
Academic Appointment: OB Hospitalists hold a faculty appointment with UMass Chan Medical School – Baystate and serve as core faculty for our 24 OB/GYN residents.

Qualifications
Board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Comfortable managing complex intrapartum care
Experience working with residents, Maternal-Fetal Medicine consultants, and Certified Nurse Midwives
