OB/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Coverage

Role Overview

This position involves providing obstetric and gynecologic care in an inpatient and ER setting, supporting a high-volume facility with over 4,500 annual deliveries. Clinicians will work 24-hour in-house call shifts, ensuring continuous on-site availability for all cases. The role requires full scope obstetric and gynecologic responsibilities, including managing a diverse adult patient population and maintaining prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care during assigned shifts
• Manage inpatient and emergency cases in a high-volume hospital setting
• Collaborate with on-site support staff, including OB/GYN, CNM, MFM, and anesthesia teams
• Maintain continuous availability for all clinical cases during shifts

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology
• Prescriptive authority required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
