OB/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This role is for an experienced Obstetric and Gynecologic (OB/GYN) Physician providing outpatient and clinic-based care in a full-scope setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient obstetric and gynecologic services with a patient volume of approximately 1.5 deliveries per day.
• Manage full scope OB/GYN cases in an outpatient and clinic environment.
• Offer coverage during clinic shifts, typically 2-4 hours daily.
• Participate in call duties, including weeknight call and 24-hour weekend beeper call, with some in-hospital support.
• Deliver comprehensive OB/GYN care in a facility with a Level 2 NICU and Trauma designation.
• Collaborate with support staff, including nurse practitioners.
• Maintain established clinical protocols to ensure continuous patient care.

Requirements

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Ability to handle full scope OB/GYN services and manage adult patient populations.
• Experience with outpatient and clinic-based practice.
• Comfort with call responsibilities, including after-hours and weekend coverage.
