Ob/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Manage obstetric and gynecologic cases during scheduled clinic hours with on-site support from a team of RNs, MAs, and advanced practice providers. Maintain a 1:1 call ratio for continuous patient coverage, including day shift coverage and assigned call duties.

Work involves handling variable caseloads for adult patients in a facility equipped to support obstetric and gynecologic care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality maternal and women's health services
• Manage obstetric and gynecologic cases in clinic and inpatient settings
• Provide continuous patient coverage through a 1:1 call ratio

Support & Environment

• On-site support staff: 2 RNs, 2 MAs, 1 PA/NP, and 1 office/staff member
• Work location: 107-bed facility dedicated to maternal and women’s health services
• Variable patient volumes; suitable for clinicians seeking ongoing locum opportunities

Qualifications

• No board certification required
• Clinical proficiency in obstetrics and gynecology
• Strong patient management and teamwork skills in a hospital environment
