OB/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

This position is for a board-certified obstetric and gynecologic physician providing coverage in a multi-specialty outpatient clinic and operating room setting. The role includes delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care during day shifts and on-call duties, supporting nurse-midwives, registered nurses (RNs), and medical assistants (MAs).

Support staff includes 2 certified nurse-midwives (CNMs), 2 RNs, and 2 MAs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in outpatient and operating room settings.
• Manage a patient load of 3-5 adults daily.
• Provide on-call support and collaborate with nurse-midwives, RNs, and MAs.
• Exercise prescriptive authority as required.
• Support on-site clinical operations, including full-scope patient care.

Requirements

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to handle full-scope obstetric and gynecologic cases.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
