OB/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

We are seeking a qualified MD to provide inpatient and clinic obstetric and gynecologic care on a 24-hour shift basis. The position offers an engaging work environment dedicated to high-quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Manage low and high-risk pregnancies
• Interpret fetal heart rates
• Perform Level I obstetric ultrasounds for viability assessment
• Conduct routine and complex deliveries, including cesarean sections
• Manage vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC)
• Repair third and fourth degree lacerations
• Perform minor gynecologic procedures such as IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, and LEEP
• Perform laparoscopic diagnostic and surgical procedures, including tubal ligations and ovarian surgeries

Requirements

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Prescriptive authority
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics
• Ability to manage a patient population of adults
• On-site work with a call ratio of 1:4
