OB/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This position is for a board-certified Medical Doctor (MD) specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, providing comprehensive women's health services in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage low and high-risk pregnancies
• Interpret fetal heart rate tests (NST/CST/FSE)
• Perform Level I obstetric ultrasounds
• Conduct routine and complicated deliveries, cesarean sections, and VBAC management
• Repair third and fourth degree lacerations
• Perform minor gynecologic procedures such as IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, and LEEP
• Carry out laparoscopic diagnostic and surgical procedures, including tubal ligations and ovarian surgeries
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care
• Manage diverse patient populations
• Support adult patients

Requirements

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology
• Proficiency in prescriptive authority
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics
• Ability to perform both obstetric and gynecologic procedures
