OB/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

We are seeking a licensed and board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB-GYN) for a locum tenens position at a critical access facility in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in clinic and operating room settings
• Cover day shifts and participate in a 24-hour call schedule with a 1:9 call ratio
• Respond to call duties during weekends and holiday periods, including Christmas weekend
• Manage a variable patient load for adult women
• Prescribe medications and follow established clinical protocols

Requirements

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active medical license and prescriptive authority
• Ability to work independently in a clinical and surgical setting

Work Environment

This role involves on-site clinical operations with support from a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
