OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

This outpatient obstetrics and gynecology position involves providing comprehensive women's health services in a clinic setting. The clinician will manage routine GYN visits, annual exams, postpartum care, abnormal bleeding, and simple in-office procedures like colposcopy and LEEP, with a focus on quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine GYN and postpartum visits, manage non-complex ovarian cysts, and conduct procedures such as colposcopy and LEEP.
• Provide patient care during scheduled appointments, typically 30 minutes for new patients and 15 minutes for returning patients.
• Handle a patient load of approximately 20-22 per day.
• Exercise prescriptive authority as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in relevant specialty.
• Experience with outpatient GYN procedures and patient management.
• Ability to perform procedures like colposcopy and LEEP.
• Strong clinical skills and adherence to established protocols.

Schedule

This day-shift role offers a schedule from 7:50 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call requirements. The position is on-site.
