OB/GYN - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This position involves providing full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care as a full-time clinician on in-house call shifts at an on-site facility. You will manage routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal, forceps, cesarean sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions, as well as VBACs and repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations.

Support staff includes CNMs, APRNs, RNs, and OB Techs, serving adult patients. The facility features Level 2 and 3 NICUs and a Level 2 Trauma designation, supporting diverse obstetric and gynecologic needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care during 12-hour in-house call shifts
• Manage routine and complicated deliveries, including:
  • Vaginal deliveries
  • Forceps-assisted deliveries
  • Cesarean sections
  • Breech deliveries
  • Multiple births
  • Abruptions
  • VBACs (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean)
• Repair third and fourth-degree lacerations
• Maintain continuous on-site availability for all cases
• Complete clinical documentation using EPIC EMR

• Flexibility in certification requirements
• Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology

Schedule

12-hour shifts with continuous on-site availability.
