OB/GYN - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This position requires a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB-GYN) to provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care during 24-hour call coverage. The clinician will manage approximately 350 deliveries annually and respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, performing full-scope procedures as needed. The role involves no outpatient responsibilities and requires NY licensure for continuous availability. Candidates must be prepared to handle emergency cases in a non-trauma facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour inpatient obstetric and gynecologic call coverage
• Manage approximately 350 deliveries annually
• Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
• Perform full-scope obstetric and gynecologic procedures as needed
• Maintain established protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes

Requirements

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• New York state medical license
• Ability to handle emergency cases in a non-trauma facility
