OB/GYN - Locum Coverage

About the role

Seeking a Board-Certified MD for inpatient obstetrics and gynecology coverage. This role involves onsite patient management, continuous availability during 24-hour in-house call shifts, and coordination with support staff to ensure comprehensive care for adult patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care during 24-hour in-house call shifts
• Manage a high-volume caseload with 2,700–3,000 annual deliveries
• Perform deliveries, cesarean sections, and respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
• Maintain detailed documentation through the EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with onsite Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) coverage and backup support for emergency cases

Requirements

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology
• Prescriptive authority
• Ability to handle high-acuity cases in a Level III NICU environment
• Strong emergency response and procedural skills
