OB/GYN - Locum Coverage

About the Role

We are seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) physician for a locum tenens role at a rural hospital. The position involves providing obstetric and gynecologic care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings during 24-hour call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform deliveries (cesarean and vaginal) and gynecological surgeries
• Maintain continuous availability for all obstetric and gynecologic cases
• Provide care in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings

Work Environment

• On-site facility with a dedicated medical assistant and practice manager
• Case load of 16-20 patients per day
• No prescriptive authority required
• Support staff available; no government affiliation required

Qualifications

• Board certification in OB-GYN is negotiable
• Experience with obstetrics, gynecology, surgeries, and deliveries

Ideal Candidate

Experienced clinician comfortable with 24-hour call, delivering both cesarean and vaginal births, and performing gynecological procedures in a rural hospital setting.
