OB/GYN Hospitalist

Primary location: Indianapolis (86th St) at Ascension St. Vincent.

About the role

Join a high-volume PRN pool backed by the elite resources of Ascension St. Vincent. This is a plug-and-play opportunity for an OB/GYN who thrives working on a collaborative team.

• Customized Coverage: Pick up shifts on a cadence that works for you. 12 and 24-hour shifts are available based on your preference and operational needs.
• Employed PRN position with malpractice coverage and multiple shift options.
• Access to Level IV Perinatal Care Center and Level IV NICU facilities.
• Partner closely with a highly integrated nursing team and four distinct OB groups to optimize delivery and triage workflows.
• Lead emergency GYN surgical interventions, managing high-acuity cases including ectopics and ovarian torsions with full specialty support.
• Drive unit efficiency by managing all triage arrivals and ER consults, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

PRN; 12 and 24-hour shifts available.

Pay

Competitive hourly rate.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Surgical Proficiency: Comfortable performing emergency GYN surgeries independently.
