About the role
Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an OB/GYN Generalist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Metropolitan Hospital is a full-service community hospital that provides state-of-the-art care and leading-edge technology in a modern environment. We provide culturally sensitive care to patients from all five New York City boroughs in a welcoming and hospitable setting and utilizing the latest advances in medical science. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, compassionate prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
- Maintain a balanced outpatient OBGYN clinic schedule.
- Perform gynecologic procedures and surgery appropriate to your experience and interests.
- Collaborate seamlessly with OBGYN physicians, certified nurse-midwives, NPs, and PAs.
- Participate in labor and delivery coverage and provide high-quality inpatient care.
- Evaluate and manage patients across the full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic needs.
- Contribute to a supportive culture focused on clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
- Support and mentor residents and learners, as appropriate.
