OB/GYN Generalist
About the role
We are seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN Generalist to join a dynamic team that provides comprehensive obstetrics, gynecology, and nurse‑midwifery services. The practice includes seven OB/GYN physicians, nurse midwives, APRNs, and a PA, supported by dedicated administration. Leadership opportunities and an academic appointment at a prestigious medical school are available. The practice is located in a busy community hospital that delivers approximately 800 babies annually and offers Level III maternal and NICU care, advanced surgical technology, and 24/7 anesthesia support.
Responsibilities
- See patients 1–2 days per week in clinic.
- Perform 12‑hour inpatient OB shifts with a 1:8 call schedule.
- Provide comprehensive obstetrics, gynecology, and nurse‑midwifery care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care for diverse populations.
- Participate in resident training and mentorship.
- Engage in leadership opportunities within the practice.
- Maintain an academic appointment at a medical school.
Qualifications
- Current medical licensure.
- ABMS Board Certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Active membership with the affiliated hospital.
