Objective
To provide the GME learner with clinical experience in a rural, full scope, OBGYN practice.
Practice Overview
The practice consists of 4 OBGYN physicians and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), committed to providing evidenced-based quality care and education to health care providers, including residents and medical students.
Clinical Experience
- Multiple surgical opportunities each week
- Outpatient schedule including contraception management, gynecological consultation, and obstetrical care
- Department-wide weekly discussion of high-risk obstetrical patients
On Call Requirements
- 1 day per week
- 1 weekend per month
Accommodation
- On-site housing offered at no cost to the learner at the Dixon House, when space is available.
- If space is not available, funds can be reimbursed from MERGE to cover housing in Farmington, per MERGE housing policy.
