Duration for Elective: 4 weeks

Objective
To provide the GME learner with clinical experience in a rural, full scope, OBGYN practice.
Practice Overview
Our practice, consisting of 3 OBGYN physicians and 3 CNM providers, is dedicated to providing evidence-based quality care and advancing the education of healthcare providers, including residents and medical students.
Weekly Schedule
- Surgical opportunities each week
- Outpatient schedule 4 days per week, including: contraception management, gynecological consultation, and obstetrical care
- Department-wide monthly discussion of high-risk obstetrical patients
On-Call Requirements
- 2 days per week
- 1 weekend per month, within ACGME requirements
