OB/GYN - Academic

About the role

We are seeking a full-time OB/GYN faculty member for an academic medical institution. The position involves approximately 90% clinical duties, with the remaining time allocated to research, education, and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care at multiple hospitals and facilities.
• Supervise residents and medical students in outpatient, inpatient, and elective settings.
• Maintain departmental leadership roles and participate in administrative activities.
• Contribute to research efforts, including regional or national presentations and publications (approximately 5% of time).
• Engage in educational activities such as planning curricula, delivering lectures, evaluating residents, and participating in conferences.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME standards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Michigan medical license or eligibility.
• Board-eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Controlled Substance license and meeting credentialing requirements.
• Leadership or educational experience preferred.
