OB CRNA Opportunity in Gainesville, FL! $150k Start Date Bonus
Gainesville, FL – HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is a 523-bed, full-service medical center located 3.5 miles from the University of Florida campus, serving north central Florida with comprehensive services including cardiovascular care, oncology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, women's care, neurology, and wound therapy.
About the role
This is a newly created OB CRNA position within a full-service anesthesia practice. The role is OB-focused with no trauma or transplant cases. The practice operates at the full extent of your training and capabilities in diverse settings, including:
- Cardiology and GI services
- General anesthesia
- OB (250–300 deliveries per month)
- Cardiac (50–75 cases per month)
No pediatric or eye cases. The facility is a teaching site for MDs and SRNAs, serving as a clinical site for Barry University, Keiser University, and UNF SRNAs, as well as UCF Physicians.
Annual case volume: 15,000–17,000.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for OB-focused cases
- Work collaboratively within a team of 20 physicians and 40 APPs
- Participate in teaching and clinical instruction for MDs and SRNAs
Schedule
- 1752 annual hours
- 6 shifts per month (24-hour shifts), with post-call week off
- Flexible schedule with no PTO
- OB rotation: 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off (Week 1: 2 shifts, Week 2: 2 shifts, Week 3: 3 shifts, followed by two consecutive weeks off)
