Responsibilities
- Keep It Spotless: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning routines for bathhouses, restrooms, cabins, laundry rooms, pool furniture, game rooms, and other guest-use facilities.
- Use the Right Tools: Follow proper cleaning procedures and use chemicals safely, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Maintain Supplies: Track and report inventory needs for cleaning supplies and guest essentials like toilet paper and paper towels.
- Handle Lost & Found: Collect and properly log found items, ensuring valuables are secured.
- Report Issues: Identify and report any maintenance concerns, damaged items, or guest complaints to the General Manager.
- Be Guest-Focused: Greet guests with a warm smile, be responsive to their needs, and contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
- Passion for Cleanliness & Hospitality: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing top-notch guest experiences.
- Team Player: Works well in a collaborative environment and communicates effectively.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License: Required for mobility around the campground.
- English Proficiency: Ability to understand and speak English fluently.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, 25 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds regularly.
- Stand for long periods (up to 80% of the shift) and work in wet/slippery conditions.
- Bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and move across varied terrain.
- Hear and speak clearly to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Pay
The pay range for this role is $14 - $15 USD per hour (Oak Lake).
