About the role
As a Guest Services Team Member, you'll be the heart of our campground's hospitality experience. You'll welcome guests, answer their questions, assist with reservations and check-ins, handle store sales, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay for everyone who visits. Your friendly demeanor and passion for customer service will make a lasting impression and create a welcoming atmosphere for all.
Responsibilities
- Welcome with a Smile: Greet guests with enthusiasm, answer their questions, and assist with check-ins and check-outs.
- Be a Problem Solver: Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Handle with Care: Follow procedures for reservations, store sales, and cash handling.
- Keep it Organized: Maintain a clean and organized front office and store area.
- Promote the Experience: Share information about local attractions, campground activities, and special offers.
- Team Player: Collaborate with your fellow team members, alongside the Maintenance Lead to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements
- Passion for Hospitality: A genuine desire to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest.
- Communication Superstar: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and on the phone.
- Problem-Solving Prowess: Ability to think on your feet and resolve guest issues effectively.
- Organized and Efficient: Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team Player: Collaborative and supportive team member.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Must be able to hear and speak clearly, and communicate comprehensively.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and mouse, and be able to look at a computer screen, occasionally for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 80%).
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb.

Pay
The pay range for this role is: 14 - 15 USD per hour (Oak Lake)
