NYU Langone Health: Interventional Pulmonologist
About the role
The NYU Langone Health Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Interventional Pulmonologist to join their growing Section.
Responsibilities
- Provision of outpatient consultative services with the NYULH Pulmonary Faculty Group Practice and at the Perlmutter Cancer Center
- Coverage of the inpatient Interventional Pulmonology service at NYULH and Bellevue Hospitals
- Training advanced IP fellow and rotating general pulmonary fellows on the inpatient service, in the OR and at outpatient clinical sites
Requirements
NYU Langone Health is a rapidly-growing academic medical center with multiple hospitals through the New York City metropolitan area. Our Section is active at campuses in Manhattan (with a major presence at Bellevue Hospital Center, New York’s premier, safety-net city hospital), Brooklyn and Long Island. We manage the full breadth of Interventional Pulmonary case pathology, including benign and malignant airways diseases, pleural disease, and IP applications in Critical Care.
Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Disease and/or Critical Care Medicine
- Experience in Interventional Pulmonology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
