Member Duties
VISTA PLACEMENT: InsideSchools, InsideSchools.org. MISSION: InsideSchools serves as a vital resource for families throughout their children’s K-12 public school education by serving as the one-stop-shop where NYC families can find free expert advice, resources and community. VISTA ACTIVITIES: The NYIC VISTA, Communications and Program Development, placed at Inside Schools, will work on supporting the organization develop new communications best practices and resources (e.g., around social media, promotion, website management) and program development projects (e.g., outreach, resource collection, relationship-building, data collection, train the trainers) in support of the organization's direct service/programmatic work.
SERVICE LOCATION: 79 5th Ave, 16th Floor New York, NY 10003. LIVING ALLOWANCE: $32,262
