About the role
The NY Construction Project Manager (MEP) leads multi‑phase construction execution for Micron’s Clay, NY campus, including mechanical, electrical, and process systems. This role manages schedule, cost, quality, safety, and compliance from pre‑construction through commissioning while partnering with cross‑functional teams, contractors, and AHJs. The position supports Micron’s digital‑first execution model and ensures delivery of production‑ready facilities.

- Manage construction projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate MEP activities across Micron teams, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
- Lead project tracking, risk identification, cost control, and progress reporting using digital tools including BIM and AI‑enabled systems.
- Ensure project adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage permits, approvals, and interactions with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
- Lead coordination meetings, maintain clear communication channels, and deliver updates to leadership.
- Utilize Micron’s project management systems (e.g., Procore) to manage documentation, workflows, and scope changes.
- Implement continuous improvement practices using data, automation, and innovative construction methods.
How to Qualify
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing large‑scale construction projects in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated capability in schedule management, risk mitigation, and cost control.
- Proficiency with construction management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore).
- Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.

- Certifications such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of building codes, construction processes, and safety regulations.
- Experience coordinating MEP systems in complex facility environments.
- Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Background in facility or building management and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
