NW Deployment Build Lead I, DCC Communities

Responsibilities
- Installation and configuration of routers, switches and DWDM hardware.
- Troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, network installations and configuration.
- Coordinating colocation remote hands for new capacity installations.
- Work cross functionally with internal partners to deliver network capacity projects.
- Resolving data center and facility issues.
- Identify, coordinate, and remediate outside plant (OSP) connectivity issues.
- Lead small to mid-size network deployment projects.
- Building relationships with remote teams to ensure swift response times to events.
- Performing site audits to ensure safety and quality meets AWS standards.
- Improving all operational processes within each site and/or cage.
- Providing status updates to stakeholders via internal tools.
- Decommissioning of cable and network hardware in collaboration with partner teams as needed.
Requirements
- Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- 2+ years of computer networking experience, or experience in computer networking.
Qualifications
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
- Experience working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.
Skills
Basic Qualifications: Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds, Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair, 2+ years of computer networking experience, or experience in computer networking.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
