NW Deployment Build Lead I, DC Global Network Delivery

Key job responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware

About the team

Our Atlanta Region is expanding into an ML Cluster, and we are very excited to expand our team with dedicated Infrastructure Deployment Technicians to help our scaling our network and server capacity. This team covers the whole Atlanta region with all the sites inside and outside the perimeter. There is travel involved as we move where the capacity is needed.

Basic Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience
• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• Experience in computer networking
• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Data center experience
• Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+)
• Experience with common tools related to network troubleshooting, including VFLs, OTDR and power meters
• Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common Networking Protocols (BGP, OSPF)
