About the role
Our 12-week full-time internships offer students the opportunity to work on projects that have a measurable impact on our business. Potential internship fields include:
- System Validation: Responsible for system validation and post-production activities for datacenter server products, such as HGX baseboards, DGX Servers, or DGX Workstations. You will maintain close relationships with Architecture, Hardware, and Software Design teams to ensure rigorous testing and debugging of new features and changes.
- Hardware Design: Work with a multi-disciplinary team on hardware product design, including testing, debugging, and validation of new products to meet performance, functional, and quality objectives.
- Mechanical Engineering: Part of a multi-functional team researching and developing new concepts and materials for next-generation products. Requires strong interpersonal skills and a background in Mechanical Engineering.
- Silicon Solutions: Responsible for productizing NVIDIA’s chips into consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive solutions.
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a university pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field for the full duration of the internship.
- Anticipated graduation date (month and year) must be clearly indicated on a resume or CV.
- Depending on the role, prior experience or knowledge may include:
- Programming skills: Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, Perl, Python, TCL
- Technologies: Board-Level Design, PCB, Datacenter Systems, Linux
- CAD Software: Solidworks, ProE, Creo, Catia, Unigraphics
- Tools: MATLAB, MOSFETs, Lab Tools (Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Logic Analyzer)
Pay
The hourly rate for interns ranges from $20 to $71 USD, based on position, location, year in school, degree, and experience.
