Maintenance Technician

Olen Living is seeking a skilled and motivated full-time Maintenance Technician for its multifamily apartment community in Las Vegas, NV: Spanish Wells. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall satisfaction and well-being of residents.

• Perform apartment maintenance tasks, including maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing or replacing items such as: Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Air conditioning
• Assist with the preparation of vacant apartments for occupancy and helping with apartment turnover in general.
• Participate in community maintenance duties, including building maintenance, preventative maintenance, service request completion, groundskeeping, and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one to two years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people.
• Able to communicate effectively and in a positive manner with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
• Capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, occasionally moving or maneuvering up to 100 pounds.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must provide and use their own hand tools to perform duties required unless otherwise specified by the property.
• Effective problem solving and time management skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Team player attitude.
• Able to respond to emergency calls after scheduled work hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Job Type

Full-time (8-hour shift, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime)

Compensation

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
