Role Summary

Day Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 6:00AM-4:30PM Wednesday-Saturday 6:00AM-4:30PM Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 6:00AM-4:30PM
Night Shift Sunday-Wednesday 5:30PM-4:00AM Wednesday-Saturday 5:30PM-4:00AM Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 5:30pm-4:00AM

Role Responsibilities

• Inspect spot stains to determine their composition and select appropriate solvents.
• Apply chemicals to neutralize the effects of solvents.
• Sprays steam, water, or air over a spot to flush out chemicals, dry material, raise nap, or brighten color.
• Clean fabric using a vacuum or air hose.
• Spread the garment on a worktable and position the stain over the vacuum head or on a marble slab.
• Apply bleaching powder to spot and spray with steam to remove stains from certain fabrics that do not respond to other cleaning solvents.
• Provide training to associates as needed.
• Willingly takes on additional responsibilities to contribute to team success.

Role Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school degree or GED required
• Knowledge of textiles
• Skilled at removing stains and maintaining the integrity of the fabric
• Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required
• Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk throughout a shift
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
• Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
• Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts)
• which requires coordinated movements
