Nutritional Services Technician - PRN

About the role

The Nutritional Services Technician prepares and serves meals with high standards of sanitation, safety, and confidentiality, including patient and cafeteria meals, while operating food service equipment and managing related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals with high standards of sanitation, safety, and confidentiality.
• Handles patient orders, assembles trays, communicates dietary needs, maintains records, and ensures food safety protocols.
• Serves customers, manages vendor supplies, and provides excellent customer service.
• Opens and closes the cafeteria.
• Performs some heavy lifting.

Requirements

• PRN every other weekend.
• A high school diploma is preferred.
• A Serv-Safe certification is preferred.
• Works around areas and equipment of abnormal temperatures.
• Requires extensive standing.
• Requires full range of body motion including but not limited to, standing, walking, sitting, hand and finger dexterity, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms, etc.

Pay

$13.48/hr
