Nutrition Support Dietitian

Role: Adult Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Support Dietitian Responsibilities Provide personalized, evidence-based nutrition care for patients with complex medical conditions, focusing on nutrition support and malnutrition.Implement, monitor, and maintain parenteral and enteral Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for patients unable to meet nutritional needs orally.Apply standards of care through the nutrition care process: assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring.Perform advanced techniques such as indirect calorimetry, bedside ultrasound for muscle assessment, and nasal enteric tube placement.Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop practice guidelines, protocols, and educational materials.Precept dietetic interns, mentor staff, and work with providers to promote therapeutic and wellness initiatives.Research best practices, evaluate intervention outcomes, and demonstrate effective public speaking skills. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field; advanced degree preferred.Completion of ACEND-accredited internship.Minimum of two years clinical experience in nutrition support preferred.Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) required within one year.Strong collaboration, communication, and research skills.
