The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a Nutrition Supervisor I, II, or III at Encina High School.

About the role

This position oversees the food service operations at Encina High School, ensuring compliance with nutrition guidelines and school policies. The successful candidate will manage staff, maintain inventory, and ensure the quality and safety of meals served.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food service operations, including meal preparation and serving.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining area.
• Manage staff schedules and training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding food safety and nutrition.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve food service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to address operational issues and enhance the overall school environment.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California Food Handlers Card.
• Experience in food service management or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
• Knowledge of nutrition guidelines and school nutrition laws.
• Experience with food safety protocols and procedures.

Pay

Schedule
