Nutrition Services Dietary Aide

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely handles and prepares food according to guidelines and regulations.
• Tests and records temperatures of hot and cold foods, and discards expired or contaminated food.
• Ensures meals and snacks are prepared and served within correct serving times.
• Collaborates with other department staff for efficient service and clean-up.

Qualifications

• Food handlers' card required.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must have fundamental understanding of sanitations, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
• Regular, predictable, and dependable attendance.
