Join the WBLAS Nutrition Services Department as a positive, energetic team member who loves children and enjoys a fun, fast-paced environment. No experience is needed—we provide paid training opportunities!
Schedule
4.75 hours per day, approximately 9:00 am – 1:45 pm (no nights, weekends, summers, or holidays).
Pay
Starting at $20.78 per hour. Additional pay increases:
- $0.80 per hour with School Nutrition Association Level 3 Certification
- $1.05 per hour with School Nutrition Association Level 4 Certification
Start Date
August 31, 2026, with additional training in late August 2026.
Location
Matoska Elementary School (Grades K–5). Position may occasionally float to other district locations for staff coverage.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks in a fast-paced environment
- Stock vending machines and set up serving lines, condiments, and utensils
- Operate the point-of-sale register during meal service
- Clean and maintain the kitchen, including operating the dish machine
- Demonstrate excellent customer service to students, staff, parents, and visitors
- Adhere to food safety standards, including completing a sanitation course upon hire and every 3 years
- Follow uniform guidelines: no jewelry, fake eyelashes, false nails, or nail polish; non-slip leather shoes; black pants (no denim or leggings); and WBLAS Nutrition Services uniform tops
- Perform other duties as assigned
