Nutrition Services Assistant I

About the role

Part-time position, Monday through Friday, 3.75 hours per day, for 10 months per year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, warm, and serve hot and cold menu items to students and staff at an assigned school.
• Maintain the kitchen and food service areas in a safe, clean and orderly condition.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least six (6) months of experience in school, commercial, institutional or retail foodservice, or manufacturing.
• Graduation from high school, or equivalent to the completion of twelfth grade, is desired but not required.
• Possession of or the ability to pass a ServSafe® (or an equivalent) food handler certification test within the first six months of employment in this classification.
