Nutrition Researcher, Level I
Responsibilities
- Oversee project daily operations, including onboarding, supervising collaborating research sites, monitoring data collection, analytical tasks, and leading meetings.
- Handle study data in a secure, HIPAA-compliant manner.
- Act as liaison between the project investigators and remote research sites.
- Promote and recruit potential research partners and engage with key stakeholders.
- Manage study regulatory documents and compliance monitoring.
- Design and support analysis of study design, questionnaires, surveys, protocols, informed consent documents, training manuals, standard operating procedures.
- Participate in research dissemination efforts, including presentations and manuscript authoring.
- Support grant writing efforts as they relate to future research opportunities.
Background Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in project management.
- Knowledge of validated tools and experience developing surveys.
- Analytical Skills, experience with statistical analysis software such as Stata, R, SAS, SPSS is highly desirable.
- Experience with preparation, submission, and maintenance of IRB protocols.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data cleaning and manipulation.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to manage multiple projects are critical to the position.
- Able to collaborate effectively in a virtual work environment.
- Attention to detail, problem solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve problems are required.
