Nutrition Intern - California State University - Sacramento State

Job Responsibilities

• Aid the Nutrition Manager in implementing health and wellness programs on campus.
• Create health and wellness marketing materials, such as social media posts, videos, flyers, educational content, and handouts.
• Organize and conduct health and wellness events, including tabling sessions, cooking classes, and promotional activities.
• Engage with students to deliver peer-to-peer nutrition education.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Nutrition Manager.

Qualifications

• Currently or incoming Sac State undergraduate or graduate student, juniors, seniors, or graduate students preferred.
• Knowledgeable in nutrition topics and able to present evidence-based information.
• Food, nutrition, dietetics, or related majors preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and experience with content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe).
• Experience with photography and video editing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong creative and analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
• Availability to work 10-20 hours per week, flexible around class hours and business needs, with a preference for availability during lunch and dinner times.

Compensation and Benefits
