About the role
The Nutrition Education Specialist will provide nutrition education services to clients in a community setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver nutrition education programs to clients
- Assess client needs and tailor nutrition education to individual circumstances
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance client care
- Keep abreast of current nutrition research and trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, public health, or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or eligibility to sit for the exam
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
