Nutrition Coordinator, Baptist Beaches

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Aid patients in understanding their menu selections.
• Work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Obtain preferences and modify tray identifiers accordingly.
• Promote patient satisfaction and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve quality care/services.
• Determine and implement menu alternatives for patients with food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection in a timely and accurate manner.
• Deliver and retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel in a timely manner, following department procedures.

Experience Requirements

• Less than 1 year Customer Service Experience (Required)

Education & Credential Requirements

• High School Diploma (Preferred)

$15.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, 12 hour shifts, 3.5 days a week with rotating weekends.
