Nutrition Care Manager II (Certified Dietary Manager)
Job Summary
We’re looking for a driven and compassionate Nutrition Care Manager (CDM) to make a real impact in senior living. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a Registered Dietitian to support resident health through personalized nutrition care, help shape menus that truly reflect resident needs and preferences, and lead daily dining operations. It’s the perfect blend of clinical insight, team leadership, and purpose-driven work — all in a setting where your contributions truly matter.
What You'll Do
- Resident Nutrition Care: Conduct nutrition screenings, implement individualized care plans, and monitor residents’ progress in collaboration with the Registered Dietitian
- Menu Planning & Dining Experience: Partner with the dining team to plan resident-centered menus and ensure high-quality, enjoyable meal service that meets both clinical and personal preferences
- Team Leadership & Staff Development: Supervise, train, and motivate dining services staff to deliver excellence while maintaining compliance with food safety and regulatory standards
- Quality & Satisfaction Initiatives: Lead or participate in quality improvement efforts that enhance resident satisfaction, streamline operations, and improve clinical outcomes
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure ongoing adherence to HIPAA, federal and state regulations, and facility policies related to nutrition care and foodservice operations
What We're Looking For
- Ace or bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field
- Credentialed as a CDM (preferred)
- Experience in senior living, healthcare foodservice, or supervisory roles a strong plus
- ServSafe® certification (or willing to obtain)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, EMRs, nutrient analysis, and diet office systems
