Education And Credentials

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent
• Supplemented with knowledge of food preparation procedures and excellent customer service skills
• PREFERRED: Formal training in institutional cooking methods and sanitation procedures
• PREFERRED: Basic computer skills

Work Experience

• REQUIRED: Six months experience in restaurant or institutional food service required
• PREFERRED: Incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date
