Position Summary
The Nutrition Assistant is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate as a team member with Nursing staff, Doctors, Clinical Dietitians, Dietetic Technicians, and other department staff to provide optimal nutrition care for patients
- Perform a variety of consistent and routine functions from processing meals, menu modification to tray accuracy
- Provide outstanding customer service in support of our organizational values while serving a diverse population
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two-year degree in Nutrition preferred
- Minimum one (1) year food service experience
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a direct patient care setting preferred
- Minimum six (6) months experience in a customer service-oriented position preferred
- Washington State Food Handler's Card

Pay and Benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay scale is $22.09 - $33.60 USD. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
