NUTANIX RESIDENT ENGINEER

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Nutanix Resident Engineer to support the administration, optimization, and ongoing success of enterprise Nutanix environments. This SME (Subject Matter Expert) will serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing expertise across infrastructure operations, automation, application migrations, security, and lifecycle management. This position is primarily remote within the United States, with occasional travel for customer meetings or project activities. Travel is expected to be minimal and generally limited to one or two onsite meetings per year. Please note: We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position and cannot work with third-party vendors or C2C candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing Day-2 operational support for enterprise Nutanix environments, including administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and lifecycle management.
• Support and maintain Nutanix infrastructure across virtualization, storage, networking, and hyperconverged infrastructure.
• Provide hands-on support for Nutanix Leap and Disaster Recovery (DR), including configuration, testing, troubleshooting, failover, recovery, and related operational activities.
• Implement and support Nutanix Flow, micro-segmentation, and security policy management.
• Troubleshoot networking, connectivity, segmentation, and security-related issues within Nutanix environments.
• Support Nutanix automation and orchestration workflows.
